Powdered Metal Parts

A mixture of metals in Powdered form is placed in a die, compressed into a finished form that is mechanically bonded. The formed part is heated in an atmosphere-controlled furnace converting the mechanical bonds into molecular bonds forming a strong part. Finished parts can be infiltrated, heat treated, precision coined, plated and machined.

  • Use of materials that cannot be alloyed conventionally, ferrous and non-ferrous
